Visiting this website will not automatically disclose any of your personal information to us. If you choose to disclose information about yourself when filling out an online form or contacting us, please don’t send us any sensitive information.

We collect information for the purposes of exercising effective access control in respect of the Port Secure area as required by NZ legislation, including but not limited to; the Maritime Security Act 2004, Customs and Excise Act 2018 and Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.

We’ll only use information we collect about you in line with the Privacy Act 2020. We will store it securely and only share it if the law allows.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact the team you submitted the information to.
