CentrePort provides sponsorship for key groups or for particular activities in our community.
We receive a high number of requests for sponsorship every year, so we have developed a set of criteria to help guide what we agree to support.
If you want to approach CentrePort for sponsorship, please be aware that we assess requests on a case-by-case basis to determine whether they:
- Align with our priorities, goals and organisational purpose.
- Align with the goals our priority stakeholders, including mana whenua.
- Support harbour biodiversity, the environment or the safe use of Wellington harbour.
- Support regional economic development or Wellington's freight and supply chain.
- Promote our connection and positive relationship with the community.

Applications for the 2024/25 financial year: OPEN
Our budget is fully committed for the 2023/24 Financial Year. However, we are open to requests for the 2024/25 Financial Year that meet our assessment criteria.
