Kerrie-Lee Magill has been appointed to the Board of CentrePort Limited.
Ms Magill fills the vacancy left by the departing Richard Janes who served on the CentrePort Board for 15 years.
CentrePort Chairman Lachie Johnstone is delighted Ms Magill has accepted the appointment and looks forward to the skills and experience she will bring to the Board.
“Kerrie-Lee has held a range of senior roles in corporates in New Zealand and the UK, with experience in strategy development, change management and mergers and acquisitions.
“That experience will complement the board as it steers CentrePort through its regeneration plan with an exciting future ahead.
“I also would like to pay tribute to Richard Janes’ quality service to the Board over 15 years. His astute judgement and counsel have been an asset to the company,” Mr Johnstone said.
Ms Magill took up her appointment on June 21.
Kerrie-Lee Magill Biography
Kerrie-Lee Magill is a commercially focussed senior lawyer with 25 years’ experience in several large corporates in New Zealand and the UK.
She has managed legal and commercial risk for a number of large infrastructure projects at Shell International and has a strong HSE risk governance focus.
She is a Chartered Member of the NZ Institute of Directors and has LLB and BCA (Economics) degrees from Victoria University of Wellington. She is the General Counsel at Stuff Limited and chairs the board of energy retailer energyclubnz.
