What you’ll be doing
As a Shift Supervisor, you’ll ensure shifts are properly resourced and prepared to run smoothly.
You’ll lead and support a team of Cargo Handlers, providing clear direction, maintaining safety standards, and driving strong performance across the shift.
This is a practical leadership role, so you will be comfortable stepping in when needed, providing on-the-ground support, and making sound decisions as situations change. Flexibility to work across shifts is essential to meet the needs of the operation.
About you
You’re a natural leader who can motivate and inspire others to perform at their best. You are organised, detail-focused and committed to maintaining high standards of safety, performance and continuous improvement.
What you bring
- Proven experience leading operational teams, including managing people across rotating shifts in dynamic environments.
- Operational working knowledge of the Health and Safety in Employment Act and its practical application in industrial settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain positive working relationships.
- A flexible, hands-on attitude with the ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
- Sound problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- A full driver licence (with F endorsement) and experience operating heavy machinery is highly advantageous.
