We’re looking for motivated and driven Cargo Handlers to join our dedicated Container Services team. This is shift-based work where no two days are the same. From securing containers on vessels to learning how to operate heavy machinery, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of port operations, with the potential for further opportunities as you grow.
Whatever the task, you’ll be backed by a great team who look out for one another and take pride in what they do.
What you’ll bring
As a Cargo Handler, you’ll need to hold (or be willing to obtain) a full New Zealand Class 2 licence and a Forklift Driver’s Licence, and you’ll be someone who is:
- Highly safety-conscious
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
- A team player who shows initiative
- A clear communicator who can follow instructions
- Motivated to deliver a high level of customer service
- Able to commit to shift work on a 24/7 roster
- Comfortable working outdoors and in confined spaces
